Para crear conocimientos que contribuyan a la formación y crecimiento de una actividad colectiva desarrollada en el marco de un grupo de sociedad civil, académicos y tomadores de decisiones, que generalmente comparten un mismo compromiso, orientado a proteger y mejorar colectivamente la salud y el bienestar de la población cuando está sana, restaurar y restablecer su salud cuando esta se pierde y, en caso de presentarse el caso, rehabilitar y reinsertar al enfermo, integrándolo de nuevo a su medio social, laboral y cultural; aprendizaje social que es el fundamento principal de la salud pública. |
