Description: | π΄ππ’πππ π’π DeLong is an exclusive New World genus and endemic to the Mexican territory, comprising 10 species distributed in the western tropical dry and pine/oak forests of the country. In the present work, π΄ππ’πππ π’π ππππππ¦ππ π πππ, from El Salto del Nogal waterfall in the Sierra de Tapalpa and AutlΓ‘n de Navarro, Jalisco, Mexico, is described. The specimens were taken using an entomological net and a modified light trap. The morphological similarities and distribution among species known are discussed. π΄ππ’πππ π’π DeLong es un gΓ©nero exclusivo del Nuevo Mundo y endΓ©mico del territorio mexicano, compuesto por 10 especies distribuidas en los bosques secos y pino/encino del occidente paΓs. En el presente trabajo se describe, π΄ππ’πππ π’π ππππππ¦ππ π πππ, provenientede la cascada El Salto del Nogal en la Sierra de Tapalpa y AutlΓ‘n de Navarro, Jalisco, MΓ©xico. Los ejemplares fueron tomados mediante una red entomolΓ³gica de barrido y una trampa de luz modificada. Se discuten las similitudes morfolΓ³gicas y la distribuciΓ³n entre las especies conocidas del gΓ©nero. |
