| Description: | This preliminary research shows some of the linguistic attitudes of a group of elementary school teachers in an urban school with the presence of indigenous and non-indigenous students in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area (AMG) in Jalisco, Mexico. The work will allow in the future to expand the investigation of the phenomenon and to be directed towards other urban public educational institutions in Jalisco that have indigenous population in their classrooms. In addition, the application of the matched-guise technique, along with other methodologies, adds to the linguistic studies that fight for the implementation of different sociolinguistic techniques. Este breve estudio exploratorio muestra algunas de las actitudes lingüísticas de un grupo de docentes de educación primaria en una escuela urbana con presencia de alumnos indígenas y no indígenas en el Área Metropolitana de Guadalajara (AMG) en Jalisco, México. El trabajo permitirá en un futuro ampliar la investigación del fenómeno y dirigirse hacia otras instituciones educativas públicas urbanas en el estado de Jalisco que cuenten con población indígena en sus aulas. Además, la aplicación de la técnica matched-guise, junto con otras metodologías, suma a los estudios lingüísticos que pugnan por la implementación conjunta de técnicas sociolingüísticas. |
